Description
White Rush displays whitish needle-like foliage with thin green longitudinal stripes growing 3-4 feet tall. It's a great offset to the greens, browns, and other darker colors often attributed to pond plants. White Rush is named after its colour, which is caused by having very little Chlorophyll. Despite this fact, the plant exhibits very strong growth in water depths of 0-6 inches.
The foliage emerges almost pure white, but becomes progressively greener as the season goes on. Still, it is much lighter than any other plant you will have growing at your pond and therefore provides a unique and striking contrast!
