Large companion birds are an exciting pet to own. They are recommended only for experienced owners as they can be intimidating, and behaviour correction must be carried out properly and efficiently. Most of these birds live for a very long time, and this must be taken into consideration before owning one. Owning and working with a large parrot is extremely rewarding, but may not be the right choice for everyone looking for a bird. 
Handfed birds purchased from Exotic Wings include their first grooming free as well as one week of boarding at no additional cost! For more details please view our Bird Boarding FAQs. Conditions may apply.
