These specialty birds are all captive bred by caring aviculturists in Canada.
These budgies are native to Australia and generally found in open grassland with light tree and/or shrub coverage, also along watercourses, in gardens and cultivated fields. They can be kept in breeding cages or mixed aviaries with other bird species such as canaries, finches, cockatiels, quail or small parakeets. They are vivid and perky birds as well as being a very popular choice. Some can be tamed to make pets with enough time to build a relationship.
*Pro Tip* When keeping two birds as cage birds unless breeding keep two of the same gender. Always have a Iodine block in the cage!
