Do you ship live pond plants, including Water Lilies?

Yes, we do ship water lilies along with all kinds of other pond plants!

We are experienced shipping these wonderful plants with many, many success stories. To help reduce shipping cost we suggest selecting the 'Bareroot' option instead of the 'Potted' option. 'Bareroot' means no soil, no pot. Just the tuber and leaves wrapped in damp newspaper. 'Potted' is as it sounds; the tuber is planted in an appropriate growing media contained by a pot. This significantly increases the package weight but some people enjoy the convenience of receiving their plant in a ready-to-go format.

Waterlilies can be somewhat sensitive when shipping, and therefore the presence of a heat advisory, risk of your package having to sit over a weekend, etc. may delay when we ship your plant. We do our best to get them out as fast as possible and will keep in contact with you if there are any circumstances that affect our ability to ship immediately. Most orders for live plants ship on Monday or Tuesday only.

Do you stock or ship pond fish?

No, we do not stock or ship pond fish at this time.

How does plant 'Pre-Order' work?

Pond plant pre-orders typically open in the late Autumn after the season has come to a close. You can order the plants you would like to add to your pond / water garden in the following growing season. We do require that 'Pre-Order' plants are paid for ahead of their arrival.

We generally receive pond plants around the Victoria Day long weekend (mid-May). If the plant you have ordered will arrive on a different timeframe we will contact you.

Can other pond plants be shipped?

Yes! We have shipped just about everything from hornwort to floating hyacinths, rushes to arrowhead and everything in between.
