Purchasing Pond Fish & Plants FAQ
Pond fish can be ordered online and purchased like other products on our online store. If you purchase a “no-pick” or “assorted” type fish please ensure you have added the quantity you would like to your cart before checking out. Contact us 10 - 15 minutes before your arrival so we can have the fish ready for you.
If you have picked a fish that allows for you to choose which individuals you would like, please add the desired quantity to your cart and checkout. Please contact us with your ETA and head to curbside when you get here. Ring the bell and an employee will be over to assist you in a timely manner.
All fish claims must be made within 72 hrs of you picking your fish up. All claims must be accompanied by some form of proof of expiry. Any claims made after the 72 hrs period are at the discretion of Exotic Wings.
The guarantee on pond plants is the same, if you are unhappy with your plants you must contact us within 72 hrs. Floating pond plants (water lettuce, water hyacinth) must be maintained above 10 degrees celsius. It is strongly recommended that you float them in the shade for one week as many of our plants are started in a greenhouse.
Products which say “(Special Order)” can be ordered by request. Please allow at least 2 weeks from the time of order to acquire your fish. A minimum 50% deposit is required to order. “Special Order” fish arrive pre-bagged and they do not allow for picking and choosing of fish. For example, if you order 12 x 4 inch koi, you will receive 12 x 4 inch koi. You do not get to pick and choose the special order fish upon their arrival.
