The OPE family and exhibitors welcome you to the 2025 Ottawa Pet Expo – Ottawa’s Largest Pet Festival! We’re so excited to be back in Ottawa on November 1-2, 2025!

With exciting interactive installations planned, such as a Bird & Small Animal Zone, pet grooming demos, Reptile, Plant & Aquatic Expo and a pet focused Marketplace, the Ottawa Pet Expo is an event you and your pet do NOT want to miss!

PRE-ORDER INSTRUCTIONS:

• Add all your desired items to your cart on our website as normal.
• Go to checkout and review your order.
• Select "PICKUP AT LOCATION" as your "DELIVERY METHOD"
• Under "PICKUP LOCATIONS" select "Pre-Order Pickup At Ottawa Pet Expo | Nov 1st-2nd - Event Ticket Required" as the pickup location for your order.
• Enter your payment and billing information and checkout.
• We will confirm the pre-order status of your order via your order confirmation email.

Bringing Your Pet To The Expo?

Please download, complete, and print the pet waiver prior to the event.

All pets must be on a non-retractable lead that is no greater than 48" in length. A stroller or appropriately-sized carrier is recommended for small pets enjoying our wonderful expo!

Adults General Admission (16 to 64) - $16.00

Youth (7-15) & Senior (65+) - $10.00

E-Ticket holders will be given priority admission at the time of entry. Please arrive with your printed ticket or ticket ready and loaded on your device. If you are coming with a family pet, please have your hard copy of the completed pet waiver accompanying your arrival. There will also be copies of the waiver on site.

• CANINE FUN ZONE - Welcome to the Canine Fun Zone, where tail-wagging excitement awaits your furry friend. Our dog- centric activities are designed for endless tail-wagging joy. • FELINE FEST - Join us for an exciting two-day catstravaganza at our upcoming 2025 Ottawa Pet Expo! Feline fans asked for it and we are thrilled to present an entire area devoted to CATS! Presented by Catit, OPE and the CPE Cat Club, Feline Fest is anchored by a cat focused marketplace and the CPE Cat Club TICA cat show. This event promises a purrfect blend of competition and camaraderie for all cat lovers.
• REPTILE, PLANT & AQUATIC ZONE - Welcome back to the Ottawa Reptile, Plant Expo & Aquatic Expo! Prepare to be captivated by the wonders of the natural world that links together reptiles, plants and aquatics. Enter a world where the diverse array of species and captivating displays will help to foster a deeper appreciation of herpetoculture, horticulture, and aquatics!

EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

Our staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, they will be pleased to answer your questions! Education is the key to a happy, healthy pet. We can provide education on many topics at the show for all types of animals and live plants, including:

• Toys & Enrichment - Types and suggestions for your bird(s).
• Cages & Housing - What's an appropriate cage for your bird and how to set it up.
• Nutritional Audit - Making sure your feeding the best for your pet.
• Foraging - Ideas & inspiration for your pets(s)
• And more!

Please Note: We will not be answering avian behavioral questions at the event. These types of questions require a lot of time and evaluation of each bird. You can book avian consulting here if you are looking for behavioral support.

BIRD GROOMING AT THE SHOW

Please Note: All birds must arrive in appropriate travel carriers for their appointment. Failure to do will result in refusal of service.

We have been grooming birds for over 30+ years! We have corrected countless malformed beaks and some veterinarians refer their clients to us. Booking your grooming in advance helps us plan for the Ottawa Pet Expo, walk-ups will also be welcome but appointments will take priority.

We ask that you show up at your appointment start time to avoid overlap of appointments. If you have a late arrival, we can still groom your birds and will do our best to accommodate you.

SHOPPING AT OUR BOOTH

All of your favourite avian and small animal supplies are available to purchase at our booth. Quantities will be limited, so be sure to place your pre-order to ensure you get all the items you need. Instructions for placing a pre-order can be found near the top of this page.
