Our name, Mazuri, means 'good' in Swahili and it's our mission to ensure that every type of animal — from the smallest pocket mouse to the largest bull elephant — can get the nutrition they need to live life to the fullest.

Mazuri started in 1989, when Zoo professionals came to us, a group of exotic animal fanatics and animal nutrition experts, looking for more complete, balanced nutrition for the wide variety of animals in their care. We were excited to take on the challenge back then and today our high-quality exotic pet nutrition solutions and Mazuri products are a critical component in the diet and for the well-being of millions of animals in more than 1,600 zoos and countless homes around the world.

Do you ship products?

YES! We ship and pack all orders in house & use recycled packing materials!

Shipping costs will apply and are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your order.

We do not add extra fees to our shipping and the rates are purely cost recovery. You pay what we pay.

How long will it take to get my order?

Most shipping to Ontario or Quebec takes 2 - 3 business days once the order has been processed and packed.

Orders for in stock items are packed same day! Deliveries are picked up Monday - Friday mornings by our couriers.

What is a Pre-Order / Special Order?

Pre-Order: This item is coming soon! Pre-ordering reserves your spot so you’ll receive it as soon as it’s in stock.

Special Order: This item isn’t part of our regular inventory and is ordered just for you after purchase. Delivery times vary and depend on supplier availability.

Do you ship live birds?

Yes, we can ship birds seasonally. Typically May 15th - October 30th.

**We will NOT ship birds outside of Canada.**

Weather that day will be factored in as we will not ship birds if the temperature exceeds 25C at any point during travel.

Shipping costs start at $350 via WestJet. Shipping costs are subject to change, and all shipping is at the discretion of Exotic Wings and Pet Things Inc.

Exotic Wings was founded over 30 years ago by Mark & Lisa in a humble 500 sq ft shop.

Since then, we've grown into a trusted destination for bird lovers, with a continued focus on education, expert guidance, and top-quality supplies to help you raise happy, healthy feathered companions.

To ensure the best experience, bird visits and pickups are by appointment only. A small dry goods section is open for walk-ins (no birds on display). Appointments allow us to provide a calm, educational setting and personalized, one-on-one support for every bird purchase.
