We thought it would be interesting to give you all a little peek behind the curtain that makes Exotic Wing's go!
What does it take to run one of our famous 3 day sale weekends you might ask? Well it takes a lot of energy, planning and is always a tad chaotic! We start planning these sales a month and a half ahead and when the sale rolls around it's all hands on deck!
This year we processed over 100+ orders in just the initial 14 hours of our sale on Friday!
Yes, really!
This means all of those orders where picked, packed and shipped all before 3:00pm on Friday! We absolutely filled our courier's delivery van in the process and that was just the beginning.
By the end of the weekend we had packed orders straight through until midnight on Sunday.
In fact, this sale officially became the biggest sales event we've ever had in our 32+ year history as a business! Shattering our previous record!

Tropican 2mm Bird Pellets! We're so thrilled to see so many of you supporting Canadian-made nutrition for your birds. Did you know that, Tropican pellets are manufactured right here in Ontario!

The most popular bird toy of the sale was our very own Tiv's Toys "Cyclops"! Perfect for small birds such as cockatiels and conures this shredding bird toy was a huge hit this sale!
A little tip for everyone who bought one; load the cardboard roll with your bird's favourite seeds and dried fruit to add a foraging aspect to an already awesome toy!

Running a big sale like this is a massive effort
But it is so worth it! We had over 900+ sku's on sale this time! Watching your carts fill up, seeing your excitement when you came to shop in store and knowing that all those packages are going out to homes that truly care about their birds... that is what makes it all worthwhile to us!
